Become a Sponsor

We would like to acknowledge that we are on the traditional land of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People past and present and honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe.

We are inviting you to sponsor this event, which will include working with us to incorporate the community-centric fundraising (CCF) model. This model prioritizes:

“the entire community over individual organizations, foster a sense of belonging and interdependence, present our work not as individual transactions but holistically, and encourage mutual support between nonprofits.”

To learn more, please refer to https://communitycentricfundraising.org/ Let’s have a conversation about this model.

What does the CCF rooted sponsorship look like?

1.Sponsors will be encouraged to donate based on their annual budget (1% of annual budget)

2.Sponsors will receive benefits regardless of how much is donated (This is based on the value of equity-benefits may include free anti-racism workshops, engaging in social justice, equity, and access discussions, participating in projects supporting communities that have been marginalized, etc)

3.Sponsors will co-sponsor a local non-profit organization. This year ADWAS has chosen the Deaf Blind Services Center (DBSC) to be the co-sponsoree.

Thank you for considering this sponsorship opportunity to further our mission in empowering Deaf and DeafBlind Survivors of violence. You, along with our staff, board, volunteers, and Survivors are vital contributors to building a strong and equitable community. It takes all of us to create a future of healing and liberation!

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Stephanie Mathis at (206) 452-0794 or development@adwas.org.

Thank you to our Sponsors!
