Access is our Priority

Our goal this year is to be as accessible as possible, for everyone. We are designing every aspect of the Gala with the DeafBlind community in mind because their needs are often put to the side. We are consulting with our MC's and Gala Committee about the floor design and communication plan. Our goal is to create a space where everyone can have autonomy, independence, while at the same time receiving all information equally. 

At this year's Gala, we will have:

• ASL/English Voice Interpreters

• Support Service Providers (SSPs) / Co-Navigators (CNs)

• Bright tape on the floor leading to/from the event space and restroom

• Materials printed in braille

We are working towards:

• Securing transportation for DeafBlind attendees
